What is Coaching?
According to the International Coaching Federation (ICF):
ICF defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. The process of coaching often unlocks previously untapped sources of imagination, productivity and leadership.
Our approach leverages positive psychology and evidence-based practices to support meaningful, sustainable growth in an effort to develop executive leadership, high potential employees, and effective teams. We help leaders create positive organizational impact and foster individual well-being.
Coaching can help you to...
improve your performance
develop clarity in your aspirational goals
move beyond that stuck space
provide structure and accountability in goal setting
identify resources and overcome obstacles
celebrate your progress and maximize your motivation
foster sustainability of your growth

In that work, she developed the calm, curious, supportive presence she brings to her coaching. She is able to quickly establish a relationship of trust and unconditional positive regard, allowing her clients to get right to the heart of their challenges. Angel is also trained in trauma-informed coaching practices. Her approach is strengths-based and individualized, built upon evidence-based positive psychology principles – putting the latest research to work specifically for you.
In addition to holding a Masters In Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) from the University of Pennsylvania, Angel is a Certified Hudson Institute Coach and Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation. She has two adult children and currently lives just outside of Washington, DC with her husband.
